1st Sketch Challenge at Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge

The talented Anne Pennington, co-DT at Little Shop of Sketches, created another challenge blog, Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge (AFSC).  Challenge blogs are always welcome by scrappers as they never fail to provide inspirations when none seems to work.

The first challenge at AFSC is up.  You have to create something fun or humorous.  A sketch is also provided for those who are up for the fun.

My take:
Title: One Fun Day

I cut out the pictures of my son (the kite series) to create a 3D effect (just trying).  I made kites and clouds for that light and fun day feel.

I used the Sizzix Alpha Graffiti for the title.  Run a running stitch and distressed with Distressing Inks in Mustard Seed .

Supplies: PP: Webster's Pages A Sweet Life (Home Sweet Home); Echo Park Sweet Summertime; Flower: Prima Via Flaminia Collection; Stamp: Technique Tuesday Favorite Memories by Ali Edwards; Inks & Mists: MR Maya Mists in Green; TH Distress Ink in Mustard Seed and Broken China; Ranger Superfine Embossing Powder (Clear), Versafine Onyx Black; Alphas: Sizzix Graffiti; Others: American Crafts Fieldhouse Fleece Blue Skies.

Thanks for dropping by.
