My First Ever at Sketchabilities

Yay! I am so excited, Sketch 57 is up at Sketchabilities.  I am so happy to see my first ever submission as DT along with the rest of the talented DTs.  My first sketch with Sketchabilities came as a breeze.  I did not have a hard time coming up with my own interpretation.  The sketch was so inspiring and it fits perfectly my style (at the moment). :D

Here is Sketch 57:

 My take:

Title: The Look of Love
Did some paper rolling here:

I love how the color of my butterfly matched the page's motif.  I put pearl powder around the edge of the butterfly for some shimmer.

Supplies: PP by Webster's Pages Country Estate Serenity; CS by AC; Mask by Prima; Alphas by AC and Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type; Butterfly by Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden Collection; Flowers by Prima; Doilies from Gourdos (local store); Journal strips from Little Yellow Bicycle; Die leaves by Sizzix; Stamp by Technique Tuesday (one of Ali Edward's); Others: washi tape, ribbons; pearl powder; pearls.

Head on to the site to get some inspiration and do not forget to link your take.

Thanks for dropping by.
